Athletes Gel Ambasaddor Eddie STRONGMAN Williams, Wins the Arnold Pro and enters Guiness World Records
AUSTRALIA’S strongest man isn’t exactly who you’d expect him to be.
Eddie Williams, winner of the 2017 Johnny Bigg Australian Strongman Competition, fits the build with his towering 195cm, 177kg frame — but there’s a little more to the 27-year-old than brute strength.
Lifting gigantic Atlas stones weighing up to 200kg, Williams defeated his opponents with a flawless performance in the final two rounds of the competition to earn a ticket to the 2018 Arnold Sports Strongman competition in the US.
To celebrate the upcoming launch of World of Tanks 1.0, eleven of the world’s strongest men were challenged to pull an 8tonne FV102 Striker tank and set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for fastest time to pull a tank over 10 metres.
Williams, 27, successfully pulled the tank 10 metres in 36.65 seconds setting a potential GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title*, with Trey Mitchell from USA coming in second, pulling the tank in 46.16 seconds.
